77′ EMPTY CROSS and PRAYER GARDENS

Pray the 4 Prayers while standing inside the empty cross, see scripture pavers in 3 different languages as you walk the gardens — shaped in a cross, discover larger than life size Bronze Sculptures — sitting beside Jesus on one of them. Write your prayers on a rock and add to the thousands already in the rock garden. We will have a time of worship with our local worship bands.

HIKE, BIKE, and PADDLE BOARD

We are within one hour of four amazing Texas State Parks. Climb a granite rock, walk over tall roots along a flowing river, and take in breathtaking canyons and vistas on the drive there. Either mountain bike our easy to intermediate trails or bike a path along the river that leads right up to a Beer Garden. Paddle Board to waterfalls, or a serene canopy of trees with the sound of rapids, then stop to enjoy a picnic on the rocks. It’s the simple things in life that are most memorable!

WILDFLOWER TRAILS

The TEXAS Bluebonnet is the “Official Flower of the Lone Star State”! When the Hill Country is blessed with abundant, soaking rains in the Autumn and Winter months, the WILDFLOWERS come out in force for a #1 TEXAS ROADSIDE ATTRACTION!

The terrain changes from pastoral, gently rolling hills to a dramatic, rugged landscape of deep canyons, sky reaching jagged cliffs, meandering streams and phenomenal panoramic views. CAVE EXPLORATION

Drops of water making formations, stalactites and stalagtites that look like the nativity scene with an angel watching over, slabs of bacon, and draperies – to name a few. You’ll be amazed at the openings of 6 large rooms, and experience the sound of a river running through!

RIVER TIME

Sitting in a lawn chair on the river rocks with the sound of running water rushing by while drinking your favorite beverage; floating in a tube tied to everyone else while tossing snacks to each other from the ice chest in the extra tube, going from wild rapids to lazily drifting alongside huge Cypress trees; paddle boarding sitting down or standing up, coming upon the beautiful surprise of waterfalls or a white egret swooping down in front of you and skimming the surface of the river, perhaps dropping a feather in reach. All of these things are magical and amazingly bring restoration to soul and body.

WINE AND BOURBON TASTING

We will take a short visit to a backhills winery with spectacular views. Even if you don’t drink, you can take in the views and be refreshed!
